Strawberry picking

June was internship, sunshine, exhaustion, exam, Tenerife, new Summer job, tons of ice cream and strawberry picking. My summer holiday started last week and it makes me want to jump for joy like that crazy guy in the top picture.

Christmas Cookie Weekend

A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I went to Grenå to visit our mormor for our annual Christmas Cookie Baking weekend. We started early (hence the PJ-bottoms in the last photos) and were done after just a couple of hours. Finishing the cookie adventure by eating her famous 'frikadeller' for lunch.
I love that last picture. Self-timer when it's best!

To the beach

In early Fall we took a walk through the woods to the beach. Since then the colors on the trees have changed so much already.

Months old

Random film shots from Spring. Sailing from Sjœlland to Jylland, coffee, flowers, view of Copenhagen, my sister and a glimpse of my old apartment.

Birthday Girl

My sister turned 24 on Friday. Twentyfour! In my head she's still 12 and spending most of her time at the stables caring for her horse.
I talked her into some birthday pictures at the fields next to our parents house. She's so natural in front of the camera and so so beautiful.

12 on a Friday

1: Staying up too late. I'm terrible at going to bed at a decent hour.
2: Bikes in Copenhagen.

3: Knitting for a babygirl.

4: Copenhagen houses.
5: Greens and a sign in Roskilde.

6: Looking down in Copenhagen. Loving the shades of the bicyclists.

7: Odense.
8: A bike ride to my parents place.

9: I love houses covered in ivy.

10: Cute flower entrance.
11: Rays of sun in Tivoli.

12: We found this 15 kilometres from Esbjerg. Such a gorgeous spot.

The whole family is leaving for Italy tomorrow. Wohooo!

Vacation time

I'm almost one week into my School Summer Holiday. It's such a welcome feeling knowing that for the next 8 weeks I don't have to study - and, more importantly, I don't have to feel guilty about not studying! I started my summer job yesterday. My family and I are flying down to Italy on Saturday, then I'm going back to work, the Washington D.C. and New York, then work, then Budapest, work and then school. As you can read; I've got so many things to look forward too.

12 on a Tuesday

1: A sign and flowers in Roskilde.

2: A wonderful package that I received from one of my San Franciscan babysitting families.
3: Knitting for a babygirl. I had to rip it 3 times before I got it right. Luckily I love the pattern.

4: Nyhavn in Copenhagen

5: My mom gave me this embroidered picture of Mr. Sailor. I love it.
6: View of Christiansborg, Copenhagen.

7: Tivoli.

8: An entrance somewhere in Copenhagen.

9+10: Kødbyen, Copenhagen.

11: I really like this sign and font.

12: Tulips in Tivoli.

I'm having my final oral exam for this school year tomorrow. Then; summer holiday!
