The Japanese Tea Garden might just be my favourite little haven in Golden Gate Park. I generally don't go bonkers over pretty gardens and flowers (although I do enjoy them) but there's just something about this small space that makes me happy and relaxed. Usually I arrive early to avoid the crowds - and entrance fees - and wander quietly around enjoying the fresh morning air and the tranquil atmosphere.
